In this week's episode, we review the 6 myths of grief as outlined by the Grief Recovery Institute, and how they specifically relate to midlife.
Adults are often expected to silently cope with loss and grief, without outward displays of emotion. In modern society, we’re socially conditioned from childhood to deal with our feelings independently. This has led to many unspoken beliefs about how we should handle loss, grief, and even anger.
That's why Dr. Béatrice is welcoming back Kirsten Frey, a Grief Recovery Specialist, to debunk these 6 pervasive myths of grief.
Tune in to gain insights and tools to better navigate your emotional landscape.

Dr. Béatrice Séguin, PhD
Founder and #TTOMPodcast host Dr. Béatrice Séguin, PhD built Estra Media and the #TTOMCommunity because of her own journey through (peri)menopause. Although each of our stories is unique, she realized that she wasn't alone and that many women were feeling the same but that there was a lack of accessible resources to support us through what is supposed to be the most powerful time in our lives.
We can support each other and we can redefine the narrative surrounding aging and beauty - and menopause.
